Spaghetti squash, also known as vegetable spaghetti, is a form of squash of the species Cucurbita pepo. The interior is filled with filaments reminiscent of spaghetti. Its flesh, not very tasty, deserves to be spiced up with a seasoning or a sauce. You can use the shell of the squash as a serving dish.
To serve as an accompaniment, finish cooking the fibers in a buttered pan.
Don't hesitate to cook it like spaghetti, carbonara or bolognese style, or with your favorite spaghetti sauce.
You can also put everything back in the shell and brown.
Try it as cold in a salad, or even raw, like a celeriac remoulade.
